Local Waters

The Frying Pan is a 13-mile river that originates below Ruedi Reservoir and is known as a ‘tailwater'. It is arguably Colorado’s finest trout stream.

This gold medal stream has daily hatches of insects and our permits allow us to guide the entire river.

Members enjoy accessing the larger Roaring Fork River by boat. Float trips are extremely popular at the Club and the valley’s most popular section is the river from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs. This water is also gold medal and offers incredible views of local mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife along the river.
