Our full time, year-round guide service specializes in customized individual, group and corporate fishing outings. State-of-the-art Boulder Boatworks drift boats and NRS fishing rafts are well-suited for the Club’s famous guided float trips.
The Club ponds are an ideal place for beginners to develop fly fishing skills and for those with limited time looking for a quick place to fish. Only a short time, around two or three hours, is needed to fish these ponds.
As people develop their skills they may want to graduate to the rivers. The Frying Pan half-day trip is a perfect excursion that offers easy accessibility and a chance at catching all types of trout. Club Guides also take beginners to the Frying Pan and Roaring Fork.
Float trips are usually geared towards the angler with some experience. These trips are longer and good casting skills are required for success. It is the perfect way to experience the river!
The Fishing Pro Team
The Roaring Fork Club Guide Service is a year-round operation. The Director of Fishing, John Livingston, ‘JL’, spearheads the program throughout the year. We employ a full staff of fly fishing guides and assistants during the busy seasons of spring, summer and fall. Our guides have multiple years of experience, and their knowledge of the property and surrounding waters make them some of the best in the area. Most of our guides are also certified float trip leaders that row fishing trips on the Roaring Fork and Colorado rivers.
